Abstract
Facing the need to stay relevant, a leading European bank set out to transform into a technology company. Through strategic communication, tailored training, and agile coaching, we helped them overcome resistance and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. This transformation led to more effective decision-making, a cross-functional approach, and a sustainable agile framework, securing the bank’s place as a technology-driven organisation.
Detailed Case Study
One of the largest banks in Europe embarked on a journey to redefine itself as a technology company. With a vision set by the CEO and leadership team, the bank aimed to create a culture of high agility, continuous improvement, and close collaboration among all teams. Our role was to provide extensive training programs and coaching sessions for various levels of the organisation, from the C-suite to delivery teams.
Despite initial resistance, we used strategic communication to engage and align all stakeholders. Through our interventions, we introduced agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban, fostering a fast-paced and innovative mindset. Leadership teams began collaborating effectively, and delivery teams adopted a cross-functional approach, breaking down silos and improving efficiency. As the change program became embedded, we developed internal coaches and trainers to ensure the transformation’s sustainability.
